firstlady Temeka B. Williams

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, she is the oldest of three daughters born to Dwight and Brenda Beaver.  Temeka grew up in St. Mark Baptist and Lilly Grove Baptist Churches.  She was educated in the Birmingham City and Jefferson County Public School Systems. Lady Temeka earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Alabama (UAB) with a minor concentration in Marketing.  She earned a State of Alabama Real Estate License. Temeka joined Bethel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Dr. T.L. Lewis. At Bethel she was very active not only as a member of the Sanctuary Choir but also served on the Mission Ministry. The Mission Ministry allowed her to fulfill her passion by serving the homeless.  She served and  assisted weekly in preparing and serving the meals, visiting the sick and those who were shut-in. Currently, Lady Temeka is employed by the City of Richmond, Department of Finance as a Tax enforcement Officer.She also serves as Marketing chair for The Johnny Morrow Endowment Foundation. This foundation provides book scholarships to selected students at Miles College in Birmingham Alabama. She is the wife of Rev. M. Randell Williams and together they have a daughter Tia Leigh Williams Lady Temeka has a passion for serving the less fortunate and enjoys being a servant for Christ in various capacities. She tries to stand firmly on Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”
